"History lesson"
Almedin Memović (Meme) was born during the Siege of Sarajevo and lives in the city today. He started to look deeper into his country's history four years ago and today, he works as a tour guide.
We met for the first time Meme in his small, colorful, and messy office from where we left to the city center to hear and see what Sarajevo "tells" us about the period from 1992 to 1995 when it was under siege.
Scroll down to "visit" the places in Sarajevo that witnessed 1,425 days of war atrocities, fear, and hopelessness but also some moments of love, friendship, and joy. At every stop, you can listen to Meme's historical personal stories and experiences.
